Spring is one of our favorite seasons! What’s not to love - it’s like a giant hug filling us with the warmth of the sun and new beginnings. For kids, in particular, spring is a time of fun and adventure allowing them to get outside and explore. Here are a few reasons why our kids love spring:
One of the best things about spring is that it allows us to spend more time outdoors. After being cooped up indoors for months, kids can finally breathe in the fresh air and enjoy the sunshine. Spring offers the perfect opportunity for outdoor play, whether it's playing catch, jumping rope, riding bikes, picking flowers or flying kites.
BONUS: With the longer days, we all have more time to enjoy all the outdoor activities that we love.
Getting Back in Nature
Spring is like an annual fresh start! Nature wakes up and puts on a show - the trees and flowers start blooming, birds fly back home, and little animals come out to play in the fields. It's like a real-life fairy tale for kids to witness the magic of nature up close.
I remember as a kid being so excited for spring break. Whether you vacation or stay home, it is the perfect escape from the mundane routine of school, and a chance for kids to recharge their batteries. Enjoy taking a breather and have some fun.
For many kids, spring marks the beginning of sports season. Whether they're playing baseball, soccer, or lacrosse, spring offers a chance for kids to get outside and participate in organized sports. This is a great way for kids to stay active, learn new skills, and make new friends. Goal!!!!
